COVID Protection Framework (Traffic Light System) - Red
At RED all staff including front line, kitchen, front office, and housekeeping will be working on-site at the hotel. Any external contractors are engaged as required without restriction – so you may see contractors in or around the hotel with a contractor pass displayed.
Vaccination passes are required for all visitors to the premises. This includes hotel accommodation guests, visitors to functions and/or food and beverage outlets, contractors, and suppliers. Wearing face masks is mandatory for guests and staff in service areas at all times when at 'Red'. Face masks may be removed when guests are either in their accommodation room or when they are are seated and consuming food and/or beverage in either the restaurant or in one of the function rooms.
Check-in: Our usual check-in experience will operate. Guests are required to provide their My Vaccine Pass.
Concierge/Porter Service: Our usual Concierge/Porter services are available.
Public areas: Contact tracing QR Codes will be in place in each area of the hotel including the lobby, restaurant, and event spaces. If you do not have a smartphone, we will also be running a manual register. For hotel guests, we encourage you to use the QR Codes, however, your registration card acts as a contact tracing register. Guests and visitors entering the hotel will be required to provide their My Vaccine Pass.
Restaurant: A guest register and QR code is provided at the entrance to the restaurant. No buffet service is available at 'Red'. 1-metre social distancing will apply and the restaurant will have capacity restrictions in place to accommodate social distancing requirements. Guests must produce their My Vaccine Pass on entry to the building.
Room Service: Full room service menu is available, 24 hours a day.
Event spaces: A guest visitor register and QR Code is provided for each event space. No buffet service is available at 'Red'. 1-metre social distancing will apply and the event spaces will have capacity restrictions in place to accommodate social distancing requirements. Guests are required to provide their My Vaccine Pass on entry to the building.
Mineral Pool: Our private mineral pool is open for your convenience but restricted to one guest at a time. Please ask reception or concierge to provide you with a key to this facility.
Mountain Bike Storage & Cleaning Areas: Available, please ensure you observe social distancing and wear a mask, and scan into the area using the QR Code. Please use sanitiser spray provided to wipe down areas after use. Please advise Reception if you use these areas so that we can sanitise surfaces between guest visits.
Dry cleaning: Dry cleaning services are not available.
Housekeeping Services: Daily housekeeping services operate as normal.
Check out: Our usual check-out and express check-out services will operate.
Rooms Service only available
Room service available. Guests to call Reception to order. Reception will place the order. Once the order is complete, Reception calls the guest advising the order is ready. The staff member is to use gloves which are removed once returning from the room. The order will be delivered to the room. The bell will be called. The staff member is to leave the room entrance prior to the guest opening the door. The guest removes the plates leaving the tray. The attendant removes the tray once the guest retrieves the order and closes the door. The attendant returns to the restaurant disinfecting the tray etc.
No turndown service offered.
Housekeeping of rooms only on departure. Guests may call to request a ‘housekeeping pack’ and self-service.
After departure, an air purification unit will be placed in the room. Once the air purification unit(s) have been in place for a minimum of 1-hour the room can be serviced by housekeeping. Thorough cleaning using 360 Hygiene disinfecting product.
