Enjoy a traditional high tea, complete with tiers of warm scones, delicate savouries, and petite sweet treats. Add a glass of bubbles if you’re celebrating, or keep things classic with your choice of tea or coffee. Whatever brings you to our table, you’ll find a decadent high tea menu that balances fresh flavours with sumptuous surprises.
High Tea Options and Pricing
Available from noon until 3 pm, seven days a week.
- High Tea with tea and coffee: $40 per person
- High Tea with a glass of Pol Remy Brut: $50 per person
- High Tea with a glass of Moet Champagne: $60 per person
Reservations are essential and should be made directly with the hotel team with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

All menu options are priced the same as the standard high tea.

High Tea for Groups
A group high tea adds a sense of occasion to any event. Whether you’re marking a birthday, entertaining clients, or organising a team outing, Regent of Rotorua would be delighted to host you. We offer spaces to suit a range of group sizes, each with its own feel.
The Club Lounge is an intimate setting to host afternoon tea for up to 12 guests. For slightly larger groups, the Boardroom seats up to 28 and is a light-filled space that lends itself well to baby showers, workplace events, or community groups.
For occasions that call for more room, The Regent Room can host up to 80 guests. It’s our largest dining space and exudes a warm, inviting atmosphere, even with larger groups, which makes it a favourite for corporate events or groups who want a little more space to spread out.
