    The Award-winning Regent Room Restaurant & Bar invites you to experience a divine selection of Pacific fusion-inspired dishes, elegant cocktails and a sensational boutique wine list:

    During Summer, the outdoor courtyard area is the perfect place for al fresco dining or just relaxing poolside with a martini on our sun loungers. During Winter, classic French sofas, hip cocktail seating and an indoor/outdoor fireplace complete the Regent Room Restaurant & Bar.

    The Regent Room Restaurant & Bar is open 7 days a week, 6.30am to late serving breakfast, lunch, bar snacks and dinner.

    If you would prefer to dine in your room, we can deliver any item off our a la carte menu (excluding degustation menu) which is attached next page for you. A room service fee of $5.00 will be charged to your room.

  • Adaptors to Allergy Comfort

    Adaptors – A variety of plug adaptors are available at Reception if you require one

    Air Conditioning – For your comfort, you have an air-conditioning unit mounted in your room for both heating and cooling. You will either have a remote to operate the air-conditioning or an electronic panel on the wall near the entrance door. For assistance with operating your a/c please dial ‘0’.

    Alarm Clock – You’ll find an alarm clock as part of the Kube Audio Clock Charging Station with Bluetooth audio and alarm clock in your room. If you have any trouble setting it, please contact Reception.

    Allergy Comfort – Our rooms and suites offer luxurious feather & down pillows and duvets. However, if you require non allergenic bedding, please contact Reception.

  • Bathrooms to Bye-Bye

    Bathroom – Please enjoy our wonderful, tiled bathrooms complete with monsoon showers and soaker baths in the suites! To avoid excess steam, please ensure that the bathroom lights are turned on as our extractor fans are linked to the lights. Heated mirrors have also been provided for your convenience.

    Bathrobes – You’ll love these! Relax in our comfortable robes hanging in your room. They are complimentary for the duration of your stay and if you would like to take one as a momento, we will simply charge your credit card on your departure.

    Bye Bye – When the time comes to say bye bye, our check out time is 11.00am. If you would like to escape with us a little longer or need to leave early, please let us know in advance. We will make the necessary arrangements to accommodate you if possible and advise you of any additional charges.

    Concierge – Rotorua offers an array of fantastic attractions we can recommend and reserve for you, many of which can be charged back to your room for your convenience including attractions, tours, transportation, and restaurant bookings. Please take advantage of all that vibrant Rotorua has to offer with its cultural, heritage, thermal and adventure attractions. Ask us….this is what we are here for!

    Credit Cards – Credit cards currently accepted are Mastercard, Visa, American Express and China Union

    Current Voltage – Most of our outlets provide 240 volts. However, we do also provide 110 volts in the bathroom. Please contact Reception if you need an adaptor.

  • DVD Players

    DVD Player and Movies – If you would love to settle in for a movie evening, we can provide a complimentary DVD player and a selection of movies for you to choose from. Please just plug the DVD player into the 3 sockets on the wall just above the writing desk. Also, you can view Sky movies on your LCD TV. We continually refresh our DVD library so please check with At Your Service at extension 0 for available titles.

    Please be aware that items not returned at check-out will be charged to your room at full retail replacement cost.

  • Fax – send or receive

    Facsimile – Just contact us to send a facsimile on your behalf. All faxes received by us will be forwarded to your room.

     

  • Fire Emergency

    Fire Emergency

    Your room is fitted with smoke alarms, heat detectors and sounders to alert you to a potential fire in your room. In case of a smoke alarm being activated accidentally, the alarm will only sound in your room. Please ring Reception on ‘0’ to reset your alarm. In the Reception block a fire alarm reset button is located near the main room door.

    In the case of a fire emergency in your room, the heat detectors will sound an alarm across the whole property, and you must evacuate immediately.

    If smoke is present, get down low and crawl to the exit.

    If you discover a fire, Fire Call Points are located at the end of all buildings on all floors. Please break the glass and switch the alarm on. Reception staff will urgently contact the Fire Brigade on 111.

    When the general alarm signal is heard all guests must evacuate the building by the nearest safe exit and assemble in the main car parking area.

     

  • Gym

  • Hair dryers and Hearing Impairments

    Hairdryers – You will find a hairdryer in the top drawer of the bathroom cabinet, on the bathroom shelf or hanging in the black hairdryer bag for your use.

    Hearing Impaired – If you, or one of your party, has a hearing impairment, please advise Reception.

  • Ice to Ironing Boards

    Ice – If you require ice please just dial ‘0’ and it will be delivered to your room.

    Internet Services – We provide complimentary unlimited WiFi access in your room and across the whole Hotel. The current password to access the WiFi will be attached to your keycard wallet or is available by dialling ‘0’. Please let us know if you need to borrow an ethernet cable by contacting Reception.

    The hotel utilises the fastest internet service available to a small city such as Rotorua and we apologise if on occasion the WiFi delivery is inconsistent.

    iPod Docking Station – For those guests who love to play their own music, we offer a Kube Audio Clock in your room which also is Bluetooth enabled. The Kube Audio Clock also provides radio streaming and is an alarm clock for those requiring a wake-up call. Enjoy your music, but we just ask that you respect your neighbours who may be getting their beauty sleep.

    Iron and Ironing Board – Our rooms & suites are fully equipped with irons and ironing boards. A pressing service is also available, please just ask Reception.

  • Keycards

    Keycards – Your programmed electronic room key is exclusive to your room for as long as you stay with us. To operate, just place the card against the black sensor to open the door. The door will automatically lock after 6 seconds.

    For your security, you can also turn the privacy lock on the inside of the door. Please ensure that you shut your room door while you are out and about experiencing Rotorua.

    Please return the keycard to Reception when you check out.

    Please contact us if you need an additional or replacement key.

  • Laundry to Luggage

    Laundry and Dry-cleaning – We offer two options for your laundry. The Hotel provides a fluff-and-fold service which is charged at $25 (small bag), $30 (medium bag) & $35 (large bag) and your clothes will be washed, dried, folded and returned to your room. To use the fluff-and-fold service please just place your dirty clothes in the plastic laundry bag hanging in your wardrobe and dial ‘0’ for us to collect it from the room. Please inform us if any cloth item requires special care or handling (eg. Whites, no tumble dry etc.).

    Alternatively, we offer a dry-cleaning and pressing service through our Laundry partner, TenderCare. For this service just complete the form hanging in your wardrobe and use the laundry bag provided. Please contact Reception for pick-up.

    Lost or Damaged Property – We take all care to ensure your safety and the safety of your belongings, but, we do not accept liability for any lost or damaged items. We will keep lost property for one month so if you have left any items behind just call us and we will check for them. Please be advised that all returns are made at your cost.

    Luggage – Please contact Reception if you need assistance with your luggage. If you need some extra time to see all that Rotorua has to offer, we also provide a complimentary service to store your luggage on a short-term basis.

  • Maintenance to Mini Bar

    Mail – Any mail received for our guests will be delivered to your room on arrival. Our Concierge can also arrange mail or parcel deliveries on your behalf. Please note that we can only accept mail for in-house or future reservation guests.

    Maintenance – For any problems experienced with any of your room equipment, please contact Reception for attention.

    Messages – Any messages that you may receive will be held at Reception for you. If you are expecting any messages, please let us know and we’ll ensure they are forwarded to your room at the earliest opportunity.

    Microwave – You will find a microwave in your mini bar area. If you need any assistance operating the microwave, please contact Reception.

    Mini Bar – Your room is equipped with a mini bar for your convenience and service. Please complete the mini bar form for any items consumed and give it to Reception on check out. Your mini bar will be restocked daily.

  • Mountain Bikes

    Mountain Bike Storage – Our mountain bike storage is located next to the Mineral Pool and is open from 6am to 8pm every day.

    Please contact reception to be issued with your own lock for your bikes. We take a $20 bond for the bike locks.

    We also have a clean up area for you to hose down your mountain bike.  Please contact reception who will show you where this is.

  • Pillows & Privacy

    Pillows – We understand how important your pillow is to a great night’s sleep. Each of our guest rooms offers feather & down pillows and duvets. We can also provide an allergenic comfort pillow or memory foam pillow if you require it.

    Please contact Reception if you have any other requirements.

    Privacy – If you feel like escaping for a while in total calm, just hang the Do Not Disturb sign on your exterior door handle. Also let us know if you’d like us to take telephone messages for any incoming calls.

  • Pools

    Indoor Thermal Mineral Pool – Mother Nature has gifted us with a natural geothermal spring pool for you to soak away your stresses and strains. Thermal water is drawn up from well below ground and is kept at an average temperature of 39 degrees Celsius (102 degrees Fahrenheit).

    Please keep your head above water when you enjoy the thermal pool and also, please do not wear silver jewellery in the pool as it will turn black.

    Towels are available at Reception or Poolside. Open from 9am to 9pm every day. For entry to our thermal mineral pool please contact reception.

    Outdoor Swimming Pool – Nestled in the courtyard you will find an outdoor heated swimming pool and sun-loungers for relaxing away the stresses of the day. The pool is maintained at 28 degrees Celsius.

    Bar & food service are available poolside from 8am to 8pm all year.

    Please be aware there is no lifeguard on duty and pool surrounds may be slippery when wet. Please take all precautions for your own safety. Avoid running or jumping. Do not take glass or bottles into the pool area or the pool itself. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Observe all safety and warning signs.

    Our pool is only available for enjoyment by registered guests.

  • Safes, Room Servicing and Smoking Policy

    Safekeeping – If you have valuables, please feel free to use the in-room safe that is provided in your room. If you need assistance with operating the safe, please contact Reception. The hotel however cannot be responsible for valuables left in your room or vehicle.

    Service of Room – Your room will be serviced daily by our housekeeping staff. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for additional servicing or special requirements. As part of our Green Policy, and to give you as much privacy as possible, we have elected to stop our evening turndown service.

    Smoking Policy – All our rooms are strictly non-smoking although we do allow smoking on the terrace area outside your room in the Classic Block and in the courtyard area. Cleaning charges will apply if smoking occurs in the room.

    Telephone – For an outside line, just the area code and number you require. Calls will be charged to your account as per the Call Pricing Schedule. For Reception, please dial “0”.

    Our phones are also perfect for a conference call or meeting as they have a speaker facility.

    For another room just dial 7 followed by the number of the room you wish to ring. For example, to ring room one, please dial “701” or for room 12, dial “712”.

    Television – Our superior rooms are equipped with the latest 32” LCD Flat Screen televisions while our suites have both the 32” LCD Flat Screens in the living area and a 26” LCD Flat Screen in the bedrooms.

    Your TV is tuned with the major national television channels plus Sky Guest Select which provides a wide selection of cable channels. Your remote will operate both the TV and Sky Guest Select.

    If you need any assistance with the operation of your television, please call At Your Service on extension ‘0’.

    Toiletries – We provide a full range of complimentary toiletries from the Natural Earth range including sewing and vanity kits. Please contact Reception if you need anything else that you may have forgotten.

    Towels – If you need an extra towel in your bathroom, please call At Your Service on extension ‘0’. Pool towels are available at Reception or Poolside

  • Wake Up Calls and Wildlife

    Wake-Up Call – To arrange a wake-up call please just call At Your Service at extension 0.

    Wildlife – Being located so close to the lake, we are often visited by harmless trout flies during the summer months. They are attracted by light so please close your windows or doors to avoid them invading your room.
